Social media are not something you can take lightly when it comes to running a successful business. Today, no business can become successful if there’s no social media involved. Tampa nightlife, especially, would benefit if social media would be maximized to its full capacity.

Fill out all important information

A Facebook page will ask all the information needed to promote your business. This information includes the name of the bar (of course), the opening hours, the address, a map, messaging options, and popular times to visit. You could also upload the menu, add the cuisine type, add a “book now” button, provide information like “good for kids,” “good for groups,” “takeout,” and “reservations accepted.” And as always, it’s important to allow reviews and respond to them as they are posted.

Providing all this information will help your customers decide when to go to your place, what to order, and who to go with. They can also reserve a table using your messaging options, so that they don’t have to worry about not having one available to them when they arrive.

Create relevant posts

Once you have set up your Facebook page and filled out all the important information, it’s time to start engaging with your customers. Do not simple leave your page empty. Try and post every day about the latest happening in your bar and the promos and discounts being offered. If there is an event happening in your club, you can go Facebook Live and allow others who are not able to come to watch how the event is unfolding (of course, this only works for public events).

Use your Facebook account to post as many details about your nightclub as possible. Create a platform where your loyal patrons can go to and converse with other partygoers. You can also host a contest where the winner/s would get free entrance and drinks to your club. Advertising through social media is all about engagement.

Post at optimal times

Study the data when your customers are likely online and will be able to check out what you post. If your bar isn’t open until 9PM, then it makes no sense to post something at 8AM, right? It is very likely that after spending the night in your club, your customers are still fast asleep or running to work. Use the best times to post something about your business, so that your target market will see it the moment they go online.
