Out of all the establishments on this list, lounges are the most relaxed type of establishment available. Softly lit, intimate, and meant for meeting with friends or dates, lounges are perfect for a more low-key kind of nightlife. You’re expected to dress up, and spend quite a bit on drinks, but you don’t have to fight an army of college students just to reach the bartender. It’s a quiet atmosphere where you’re free to enjoy your drink and your choice of company.
