Lakeland restaurantsFast food, fine dining, Chinese takeout, sushi, desserts… Whatever you’re craving for, we’re sure you’ll find it in Lakeland restaurants. The beauty of this city with a small-town vibe lies not only on its vibrant sense of community and charming architecture, but also its fusion of dining options.

We tried to compile a list of well-rated and well-reviewed Lakeland restaurants. It’s quite hard, we tell you, as there are hundreds out there that are worth coming back to. But, we tried to stop ourselves from listing every one of them and based these on our research.

Abuelo’s

In Spanish, abuelo means grandfather, and this is exactly how Abuelo’s would want you to feel–like you’re stepping inside your grandparent’s kitchen and savoring in the wonderful smell of whatever they’re cooking in those pots. Abuelo’s is a restaurant in Lakeside Village serving authentic Mexican food and margaritas. It promised to serve only fresh food every day, so you can get your treat from freshly-made burritos or fajitas.

Bay Street Bistro

If you’re looking for a fusion of American, French and Italian, look no further than Bay Street Bistro. You’ll never go wrong with its variations of steaks, salads and soups, plus the seafood options are scrumptiously delicious. After opening its doors in 2011, the restaurant has since then became the to-go five-star dining option among Lakeland restaurants. It prides itself for doing everything from scratch with the freshest ingredients they can find. The restaurant also features a dinner special every week, and it has some 80 wine selections from the world’s best winemakers.

Bedrock Wings

Nothing says all-American like a serving of burgers, chicken wings and those big sandwiches, and Bedrock Wings got you covered in Lakeland. It’s a little tavern that has been serving traditional American fast food for 16 years. You can choose from a variety of fries, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, chicken wings, salads and quesadillas.

Pizzeria Valdiano

It’s gluten-free and it’s Italian. What more can you ask for? Pizzeria Valdiano started serving Lakeland pizzas in 2006. Based on traditions of family, it promises to serve food made from the freshest and most high quality ingredients. There’s a lunch and dinner special every day, so it’s perfect for a quick dinner with family, workmates and friends.

Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille

There are times we crave for those New Orleans spices. This is what Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille is all about. Nothing says southern dishes like jambalaya, crab cakes and calamari, which is what Harry’s has always been famous for. Check out their fried green tomatoes, seared ahi tuna, shrimp creole, chicken-n-grits, bourbon street salmon, and chicken baton rouge.
