Have you ever been assigned to organize your friends’ out-of-town trips or even just the usual dinner to catch up with each other? If yes, you probably know how difficult it is to organize everyone’s schedule and pick a place that everyone will like. That’s the same with hosting or fixing a Tampa nightlife. You have to consider every suggestion, every schedule, and every idiosyncrasy that your friends have.

Ask for their recommendations and suggestions

Before going the distance and researching for good food with great music and drink selection, you have to ask your group for their suggestions. Where do they think you guys can go? Have they tried a new hangout spot that they think you would all like? If there is a suggestion and everyone agreed to it, there’s no need for you to do your research to find a place that everyone would agree to. Just trust your friend that she/he picked the right spot. However, if there is no suggestion or no agreed upon place, you would have to scourge the internet for new places in Tampa that all of you would love.

Check out the operating hours and parking spaces

This might seem trivial for some, but it’s important that you know up to what hours the bar is open. Of course, some of you may be arriving late because of work or other personal matters. It would be nice to know that the bar is open until the wee hours of the morning, so everyone can come. Don’t worry, most bars and pubs in Tampa stay open late at night. You also need to check if there are enough parking spaces for everyone. If the parking lot is small, it might be better if you would only bring one or two cars.

Set the schedule and the place

Finally, once everyone is in agreement on what date and where to go, you can set the date with your friends. Make sure to remind them every so often that you plan to meet on a specific date. You don’t want anyone backing out on you at the last minute because their excuse would be that no one reminded them about your “meeting.”

Designate a non-drinking friend to be the driver

This is very important. If you plan to drink, make sure there’s someone in your group who wouldn’t. He/She will be responsible for driving all of you home and seeing to your safety. For those who live far, he/she can hail a cab and make sure that the cab details (plate number, driver’s name) are recorded, so that if anything happens, you would all know who to call.
