Predrink at your place
It is almost common sense these days to drink at your home before you go out. You probably have a bottle of vodka there that you haven’t touched in weeks. Now is the time to get your predrink ritual going.
Just grab a glass, some ice, and pour yourself a vodka. You can also drink a couple of beers or a glass of wine before heading out. This will leave you feeling a little buzzed; enough to party like crazy on the dance floor.
Make your own flavored vodka
If you are tired of the same old plain vodka but don’t have money for the flavored ones, why don’t you make your own flavored vodka? All you really need are some fresh ingredients such as cranberries or strawberries and infuse their flavors into your plain vodka.
You need just about an hour or so to let the flavors come together. You can do that while getting ready for your night out in town.
Order the cheapest drinks
Daiquiri, mojito, whiskey sour, and rum and coke are some of the cheapest drinks in a bar. You can get these for $10 each or even less.
The key is to have fresh ingredients incorporated. Even if you use cheap white rum for your mojito, for as long as you use fresh mint and lime, all will be good and the taste will be the same as any expensive mojito in another bar.
Rum and coke is also a cheap drink since the bartender is just basically mixing cheap rum with sparkling coke. You can also choose to avoid mixed drinks and just have a whiskey on the rocks. Mixed drinks are typically more expensive.
Take advantage of happy hour specials
Bars and clubs have happy hours, which means you can get their drinks for almost half the original price. Instead of spending the night drinking, why don’t you give up your afternoon for it? By nighttime, you can just grab a vodka from a convenience store and finish getting drunk right on your own couch.
