The Tampa nightlife is something that we all enjoy and indulge in once in a while. After all, at the end of the week, after a long week of work and stress, there’s nothing we want more than to just let our hair down and enjoy ourselves.

For many of us, clubbing is the best way to go about doing that. Dancing like nobody’s watching, and having fun with friends and people that you meet, there’s nothing quite like clubbing when you’re young and full of energy.

However, with all the fun of clubbing, there are a few hard truths that you may end up realizing after a few circuits around the club scene. So that you don’t have to go through the pain of learning this yourself, we’ve compiled a list of mistakes that you should definitely avoid when you’re out clubbing on a Tampa nightlife.

Bringing too much money

A seasoned club-goer will always tell you to only bring enough money that you’re comfortable with spending. Never bring more than that, and never, ever bring your credit cards.

When you’re clubbing, there’s a good chance that you’re going to be drinking, and you are not the best financial advisor in the world when you’re intoxicated.

Bring enough for fare, drinks, food, and that’s it. Never bring more than that, or you may have to face the horrors of checking your bank account in the morning and finding out that you’re going to have to cut out food for the next week because you spent it all the previous night.

Not drinking enough water

When you’re out on the dance floor, you’re having fun, and switching it up by going to the bar, it can be pretty easy to forget to stay hydrated. But you have to remember that alcohol is a diuretic, which causes you to expel any fluids in your body, leading to dehydration.

If you forget to drink enough water, you’re going to end up with a terrible headache and hangover the next morning, which is the last thing you want. As much as possible, drink a full glass of water for every alcoholic drink you take in.

Not dressing comfortably

It’s the beginning of the Tampa nightlife, and you want to look great. After all, it’s been a long week, and you just want a night where you’re not stressed out, and you want your outfit to be a total killer. You put on your tallest heels, your most eye-catching outfit, and you head out to the town.

Now it’s 11 PM, your feet are attempting to remove themselves from your body just to get away from those heels, and you’re shivering because you thought it would be a great idea to wear a short dress in the middle of November.

Always wear clothing that you’ll be comfortable in after hours of being on your feet, even if it’s not your best outfit.
