We had the great opportunity to attend the 70th Annual Detroit Tigers BBQ on Thursday, February 25th. This is always a fun event that kicks off the Spring Training season for our Detroit Tigers.
There was no shortage of fun and excitement at the Detroit Tigers BBQ. There was fantastic live music, great food and drinks, and being surrounded by the amazing Detroit Tigers players, staff, and fans made for a great evening.

You never know who you’ll run in to at the Detroit Tigers BBQ. A few lucky fans got the opportunity to meet and get their picture taken with former Tigers manager, Jim Leyland. He is always very kind, and always takes the time to talk with fans and pose for a picture. It was definitely good to see him.
The beginning of Spring Training in Lakeland is an exciting time, and the Detroit Tigers BBQ marks the beginning of a fun filled Spring, and an exciting baseball season. If you have never been to a Detroit Tigers Spring Training game, we highly recommend you checking one out this Spring. It is an event that is fun for the whole family.
