Lakeland shoppingCome again, you don’t like Lakeland shopping? Coupled with the incredulous expression on her face, that’s probably what your friend said to you when you revealed that you don’t really like shopping. How can that be, right? Shopping is good for the soul. Shopping is so calming and rejuvenating. Not one sane person on this Earth hates the idea of getting something for himself/herself.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. For some people, shopping is a waste of time and energy. They believe that there are better things one can do in their lives rather than shop. That’s perfectly understandable, you know. Not everyone loves to burn money just so they can get a new pair of shoes. Not everyone is up to the challenge of computing discount prices and going after promos.

You’re better off alone

If you’re a non-shopper, going to malls with your girlfriends is not the way to do it. You’ll be forced and pressured to act the same way they do. That wouldn’t work for you because you hate the process they undergo just to shop. Stick with yourself and your process. Go to the mall when you know you need something there. Find what you need. Decide if you want to buy it. If yes, pay for it. If no, leave the store. That’s a pretty simple equation that your shopper friends won’t understand.

You like to make a list

You’ll know you’re a non-shopper if you make a list before going to the store and you actually stick to it. That helps you feel more in control than those who go there without an agenda in mind. Having a list makes going to the store a relatively shorter trip than needs be. You’ll feel more accomplished afterwards.

Go on a weekday

We’re guessing that the real culprit why you’re a non-shopper is because you hate the crowds? That’s understandable because crowds can really be stressing. Go on a weekday, preferably on Tuesday or Thursday when there are no crowds. Go early, too, because there are doorbuster discounts you can take advantage of. You’ll be avoiding the crowd and getting some great deals, too.

Try the sales

We know it’s hard to go to stores during the sale season. This is when crowds actually flock to the stores. Don’t fret about it because as mentioned above, you can go on a completely random time like Tuesday morning. Check out what’s on sale, buy it, then leave. That’s how non-shoppers can enjoy Lakeland shopping.
