Running Errands And Meeting Friends During A Tampa Nightlife Workshift

Before we begin, we’d like to clarify that we don’t normalize meeting friends while at work. We’re simply highlighting one of the benefits of working in the Tampa nightlife industry is that you can “see” (not hang out with) your friends while working your shift. Working in a bar or a club allows you to meet all kinds of people. Your friends could just as easily choose to go to the bar where you are working to see you and catch up with you during your breaktime. There is nothing wrong with that, and managers should be okay when their employees invite their friends to the bar. That’s good marketing and promotional strategy. As long as your employee is not handing out free drinks and appetizers, there’s really nothing wrong with them seeing their friends in their place of work. Let’s just say you work as a manager of a local bar or pub. Your friends are looking for a place where they can hang out. It happens to be your nightshift, so you can’t really meet them anywhere…

Just turn your schedule upside down and thanks to a cup of joe, you could even attend to some of your errands during the day (when all government offices are open). Do errands during the weekend Groceries, meeting with friends, paying the bills, cleaning the house… do all of these during the weekend. You won’t have the time for most of these during the weekday because when you get off work, your friends will be in their own jobs and …

Can You Still Use Traditional Media To Promote Tampa Nightlife?

While all forms of marketing and advertising are being done on social media these days, we should not forget about the power of traditional media, especially when it comes to promoting Tampa nightlife business. Contrary to many misconceptions, the tri-media of TV, radio, and print are not dead. They are still very much alive and it baffles the mind why anyone would think that they could not help a business promotion. Television Sure, airtime on television is expensive. It can go up to thousands of dollars. But it is also cost-effective in the long run. Remember that aside from social media, most millennials are stuck watching TV, too, thanks to their love of reality shows and TV show games. You can still use commercials to promote your business. You don’t even have to buy airtime during the busy primetime block. As long as you have a bit of a presence on TV, you should be fine. Radio Unknown to many, a lot of people still use the radio to listen to news an…

Is It Bad To Bring Your Kids To Your Tampa Nightlife Outing?

We know that look before. It’s the exact same look that older mothers use on millennial parents who bring their kids to the grocery store or to the mall when they’re still infants. It’s the same kind of look they give us when we bring our children with us when we meet friends in a sports bar and drink while our children doodle beside us. What is so wrong about bringing kids with you when you want a little Tampa nightlife break? Are we breaking the law? Technically and legally, there’s no rule against bringing kids with you and ordering a cocktail or two. There’s a law, however, when you want to drive after having that drink. So, if you’re going with your partner, make sure that one of you is the designated driver of the group. Otherwise, just call a taxi and make sure that you all go home safe. Sports bars and nightclubs have become kid-friendly these days by offering kiddie meals and family packages for their lunch and dinner. The problem, however, lies when the parents…

Bars and pubs are not really for babies and children. Our children don’t exactly have a Tampa nightlife where they drink and dance their worries away. But if you’re new parents, you know all about the stress of family life and sometimes, you just want to go out and drink and dance and hang out with your friends. So, how do you reconcile the fact that you’re a new parent who needs a drink but can’t leave the baby at home? Look, it may look and feel impossible and not to mention downright wrong, but there are tips that a business could follow to turn their nightlife businesses into family-oriented and baby-friendly ones. Prefer soft music The reason why we can take kids to a fine dine-in restaurant or a fastfood and not to a nightclub is because of the loud music. They can be put to sleep when in a restaurant, but not in a bar or a club where the speakers are blaring Drake’s latest song, right? If you want to be a family-friendly bar, better ditch the loud music an…
