Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious!
Celebrate the grand opening of Explorations V Children’s Museum’s newest traveling exhibit, Curious George: Let’s Get Curious! from February through April 2016. The exhibit is sooo big…it will take over much of the Museum’s first and second floors!
Visitors will enjoy exploring alongside the loveable monkey as he playfully guides them through his friendly neighborhood and blasts with them into outer space! The traveling exhibit, developed by Minnesota Children’s Museum and Universal Studios, allows children to discover their strengths in math, science, and engineering in a safe, yet exciting, atmosphere.
Based on the familiar characters in H.A. and Margret Rey’s classic stories and inspired by the animated television series on PBS KIDS, visitors can operate wheels to help George climb a building, sort and weigh fruits and vegetables at the produce stand, use science skills to putt a hole of mini golf, have their picture taken with the rocket from George’s space adventure, build a whirligig in the country, and visit the Museum within the Museum.
Explorations V Children’s Museum provides 3 floors of kid-powered, hands-on exhibits and mind-stretching programs in the arts and sciences to celebrate the five senses! Art and Science are the pathways for many learning concepts, freeing the child’s creativity and unleashing the power of play. The Museum was founded on the premise that children, like adults, use all five senses to explore and learn about the world around them, hence the “V” in our name.
