Bedrock started in 1992 at our original location on S. Hwy 98.
Just a little tavern went on for so very long 16 Years. Over the 16 years we managed to open 98 North, S Fla ave (twice), Winter Haven and Bartow and in between the two S.Fla Ave ventures we open a Seafood restaurant named FINS Fine Seafood. So as the years went on so did I from Bedrock to Bedrock and even did a few little deals with some Bars and threw our food in there. Lots of FUN for all those years. The Biggest Pittsburgh Steeler Bar in Town (people still talking about our club. We have won our share of Wing Trophies also along the way. We played softball, Football, Hockey, football Trips, Baseball Trips, Golf Tournaments and on we can go.
Well then it was time to throw in the towel…….So my venture started with the Winghouse for 5 years ( lots of learning) How not to lose money!!!!!
But after 5 years and before I turned 50 I have to try 1 more time. So it was time to figure it all out without working hard and long and god (no more alcohol. So we came up with the idea of Bedrock Wings! Got to have the name (BEDROCK) everyone knows the Name. As we started looking for a location, there it was on Edgewood (close to 98) and oh what a location this is. We decided to have easy daytime and a few night hours only to be closed on Sunday’s (so I can watch STEELER FOOTBALL………. and no alcohol…..took a lot of static from some of you, but it really is a winning choice…… This really is the lunch spot everyday now for a lot of our guests and I firmly believe if we had alcohol we would not be as busy at lunch.
